I’m hoping to take a flight back up to Oregon in September for a weekend to attend my brother’s wedding!

I wish I had family that also ran that I could run races with. Well…my brother that’s getting married runs trails. But not races. And I’m kind of afraid to run trails because I’m afraid of tripping and falling and getting hurt.Sarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00353717802641548195noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8798785837432777875.post-48757536402293458292014-06-26T02:35:27.875-05:002014-06-26T02:35:27.875-05:00How exciting! My Indian coworker said all of the places on your list of places to visit in India are great choices and she would have recommended the same.

Enjoy the wedding. Sounds like a fun couple.

No PRs for me this summer. I am taking it slow. I'm sure you could PR the 4 miler no problem, but if you're not feeling it you have a great plan B to run with your niece. "maybe if we use credit card points we can pay for this leg of the trip, and if we use hotel reward points we can stay here for free, and then if we put the car in neutral down hills we can save some gas on the way there...." but in the end it delivers an amazing trip and experience, very exciting.

Regarding the 4 mile race, since I'm in the process of recalibrating my PR's to my new running and fitness level, I'm all about fixing that old expired PR you have, but that's just me.Running Bearhttp://www.spiritualcreaminess.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8798785837432777875.post-85136036126009184172014-06-25T10:15:27.537-05:002014-06-25T10:15:27.537-05:00So I guess 'runderwear' and a sports bra i...So I guess 'runderwear' and a sports bra is out? haha :)

Really exciting sounding trip - and hear you on the nervous part as well!

Lots of good trips for you guys - and I definitely find it confusng when you have kids from other marriages and figuring out what to call it (actually I don't have any of those yet, I just think too much about random things :) ).

As for the 4 miler ... tough call! Personally I would run with the kids ... but that is also because I am really not competitive and also because I would just to love to run a race with my kids! :DMichael Andersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03061568790581429107noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8798785837432777875.post-2314966954304519222014-06-25T09:30:44.453-05:002014-06-25T09:30:44.453-05:00Very excited for you!!! Have fun at the wedding (beautiful couple!), and good luck at the race! I don't think I've ever run a 4-miler, but it sounds fun!Megan (The Lyons' Share)http://www.thelyonsshare.orgnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8798785837432777875.post-66185971441890443172014-06-24T10:23:58.683-05:002014-06-24T10:23:58.683-05:00Whole trip will be about 3 weeks. Haven't nailed down days in Nepal v. days in India yet, just when we get to Nepal and when we leave India, but I don't think we're going to do major hiking. I'd love to do the Annapurna (sp?) circuit, but that would be an entire trip in and of itself. But def looking forward to getting in some foreign runs, though a bit nervous about what to wear in Dubai. I have a friend who ran there in longish shorts and short sleeves and had no issues, but I wore the same in Turkey once and felt uncomfortable. Everyone I know who has gone to India comes back with crazy stories, so I'm sure it will be a great experience, as will Dubai! Also, have fun in Pittsburgh! I love that their second date was the Pgh Marathon.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15789773999034928321noreply@blogger.com
