I need to apply that to running lately. I’ve been wholly unmotivated to run due to the heat and humidity in central Texas right now. That’s just a crutch and a super lame excuse. And I need to stop using it and just get out there and try. Why? Because I love to run and I’m depriving myself of a great joy in my life.Sarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00353717802641548195noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8798785837432777875.post-4623774697316229162014-08-09T23:24:23.003-05:002014-08-09T23:24:23.003-05:00Wow…that is some deep thinking. I got side crow and running man, which I've never done before! And it did kind of feel like it "just happened" one day, but that's because I had tried several times beforeMegan (The Lyons Share)https://www.blogger.com/profile/17797611229529257496noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8798785837432777875.post-14316486671961885682014-07-31T03:49:37.381-05:002014-07-31T03:49:37.381-05:00Exactly - each of is different in so many ways, so...Exactly - each of is different in so many ways, so naturally there are some people who could do 'everything right' and never break a 10 minute mile, and others who could fall out of bed one day and do a 7 minute mile for their first run. 100% Effort? Different story - and sustaining a high level effort for a long period? Those are things that we can work on.

Great post :)Michael Andersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03061568790581429107noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8798785837432777875.post-55625177493421577142014-07-30T19:52:36.058-05:002014-07-30T19:52:36.058-05:00Sounds like a great instructor. It's so true. ...Sounds like a great instructor. It's so true. Some postures can seem impossible. But you're right--it's all about the effort and also the journey in trying to improve with both yoga and running. Just one reason why I think yoga and running are so similar--and why I love them both!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15789773999034928321noreply@blogger.com
